The mind management model intended for use is Steve Peter's 'Chimp Model'. It's my recommendation to include a brief introduction to delegates within the session. This model integrates insights from neuroscience and psychological theory and aims to offer practical strategies and skills for people to learn how to understand their mind and to guide their actions accordingly. It is a useful tool to help people manage life events, manage stress, stabilise the mind, and build robustness and resilience. Within the time available, this session will be designed to deliver some key concepts, as well as empower individuals towards further reading and support. The model has helped people from all walks of life. There is an evidence base for the model's statistically significant impact in reducing burnout and increase in well-being, as part of an eight-workshop programme (Laker et al., 2023).
